The brief from the owners of Airbnb property “Springhaven Kuranda” was simple – create a space that brings the outside in, celebrate the rainforest surrounding and make the property the most sought after listing on the accommodation platform. The floorplan was designed to make the most of the surrounding rainforest. Natural materials and exterior colours were chosen to blend in with the landscape and withstand the tropical environment. Inside we kept the palette simple with a mix of timber, leather, greens and natural tones and textures to create a relaxed, unique and must-stay experience.
